Category talk:Alien Swarm Entities

Not sure if this page should be a subcategory or just merely a page. I'm attempting to create a list like this as hopefully it will allow each entity to have its own fleshed out documentation.

The list is obviously incomplete right now, as I don't have full access to the SDK on my current machine. I will fix this later if someone doesn't beat me to it.

I'm also unsure if there should be entities included here that are not SPECIFIC to Alien Swarm, but have Alien Swarm specific uses.

Proposed Deletion

Categories serve a different purpose than list pages; you can think of them much like "tags". By clicking on the category link at the bottom of a member page, a user can quickly and easily find other pages on the same subject.

In contrast, a list page can provide a quick overview of the various member pages in an easily-read format. (Let's face it, a category isn't especially easy to browse.)

I'm in favor of keeping both this category page and the ASW entity list page because of the semantic/functional differences explained above. --Insaneinside 02:22, 14 August 2010 (UTC)
