Talk:Color Correction
- This article does not contain (YET!) info on how to use the color correction (from now on CC) - just some general info, and how to enable it. If someone already tested it and can provide some basic information about it it'll be great!--RP 12:33, 4 Mar 2006 (PST)
This can't be called CC because Valve uses CC for closed caption—ts2do 13:45, 4 Mar 2006 (PST)

The "P" Word
The first two paragraphs of this article is a verbatim copy of the bit-tech article linked on the bottom of the page. Could someone at least cite the bit-tech article instead of just posting a link? Or rewrite this article altogether? -- Sodabus 15:00, 4 Mar 2006 (PST)
- Done. Hopefully well enough. :) --ATimson 17:10, 5 Aug 2006 (PDT)
Playable example map
For an excellent example of what can be done with colour correction, have a look at this CS_Office remake by Dimension Studios: CS Classified --Fitzroy doll 07:12, 25 Jul 2007 (PDT)
Color correction availability
I tried using color correction in Half-Life2 and Lost Coast (LC) but it won't work. It only seems to work with Ep1, Ep2,CS:S or DOD:S. In a brief search I found this thread at the Steam User Forums (only the last posts are relevant), which lead me to believe that color correction simply doesn't work with HL2 or LC, only in later titles. Is this the case? Or is it a problem on my part? If it's only available in games other than HL2 and LC, maybe it should be mentioned in the main article so that people are aware of it.--Etset 12:05, 26 Dec 2007 (PST)
- Strange... The colorcorrectionui preview doesn't show up in Ep2, but it does in CS:S. Can anyone else confirm? --Campaignjunkie (talk) 14:51, 30 Jul 2008 (PDT)
What supported DX levels?
Can anyone confirm what DX levels are supported with color correction? No one seemed to note it already :/ --Craziestdan 06:58, 30 January 2009 (UTC)
About cold grey and red blood
Hi I'm going to start a horror themed map (for HL2 ep. 1) and I would like to know if I can give it that "feeling of cold or isolation", as it's written in the page, with a greyish 'hue'(that's how you say it, right?), but still with a morbid red blood... so how can I do this? Or you think a greyish blood is more scary? --Ruanito
