Left 4 Dead is an upcoming co-operative multiplayer zombie/survival horror game by Valve. The game uses the Source engine.

Release dates

Steam:

• Left4Dead will ship worldwide on Steam on November 18th.

Retail:

:In the US:

• The product will ship to stores on the 17th.
• It will be in boutique stores on the 18th.
• The mass merchant US stores will have it on the 19th.

In the rest of the World:

• The product will be available on Friday, Nov 21.

Gameplay

There are four playable human characters, and, in addition to computer-controlled zombies, a further four playable zombie characters (the Infected).
