I don't get it. What are the problems this caused?
Has this issue been fixed? I don't see any problems with mod tools besides an unrelated XSI Addon not working for XSI 5.01+

I don't think this has been fixed. I just got back to Hammer after a several month hiatus, clicked on the default CS:S configuration and was greeted with horrible graphical errors on models and entities in the 3D view. The -dxlevel 80 fix seems to have worked. `zozart .chat 04:26, 19 Jul 2006 (PDT)
