Help Desk Q

I saw that you removed your second help desk question and, while I wasn't able to answer your question, I was interested to know what the eventual outcome was? Did you tame the Max Distance variable successfully, or was it a different solution? (I have been having a little of my own trouble with Max Dist and too-many-lightstyles, but I'm not entirely sure whether that's cos of a bug or user error.) --Giles 23:44, 10 Jul 2006 (PDT)
