minor edits

Hi ShiroDkxtro2! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typographical error or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. --Nescius (talk) 09:23, 9 June 2025 (PDT)

I'm sorry—I didn’t realize that "Minor edit" had a specific meaning that I'd have to adhere to.

Since I'm usually documenting individual Shader Parameters and other small Things, I assumed it would fall under a minor edit.

It might be helpful to hyperlink this on the edit screen, so users who are newer to wiki editing ( like me ), don't make the same mistake I did.

Additionally, it may become less likely you will have to point this out again.

In any case, I appreciate you pointing this out and I'll refrain from ever checking that Box again!

Funnily adding that link to edit screen is what I suggested at admin noticeboard (VDC:AN#Minor_edits). So at this point it's up to wherever an admin reads it and decides --Nescius (talk) 12:50, 12 June 2025 (PDT)
