Where is the – symbol from ? Both gog and steam page use regular - symbol --Nescius (talk) 17:04, 20 May 2025 (PDT)
- Initially the page was called "Vampire the Masquerade - Bloodlines" without a colon. I figured this was wrong so I went to the Wikipedia page, which I noticed used an en dash. It's possible Wikipedia is incorrect, but my assumption is that Steam games generally use a restricted character set for their names, so they used a hyphen-minus rather than the character that matches the typesetting of the logo, which would be an en dash. ―Pee (talk) 17:56, 20 May 2025 (PDT)
- Which logo ? Didn’t find one with any dash. Every website I checked other than wiki seems to use regular dash. Even the 2nd game from official website https://www.paradoxinteractive.com/games/vampire-the-masquerade-bloodlines-2/about —Nescius (talk) 21:42, 20 May 2025 (PDT)
- On wikipedia somebody changed it to en dash in 2008 [1] with change description "he hyphen is only used as a substitute in image filenames; see w:WP:DASH.". The linked article currently has only this to say about titles "In article titles, do not use a hyphen (-) as a substitute for an en dash". In that case that wouldn't apply as it's not a substitute but rather the hyphen should be used even on regular wikipedia --Nescius (talk) 02:27, 21 May 2025 (PDT)
