StaticPropSampleScale Edit: Cause or Coincidence?

Yesterday I necroed a Garry's Mod Garry's Mod requests thread from earlier this year from a user requesting that -StaticPropLightingFinal be added to the game's VRAD. The discussion had died rather quickly after the poster failed to provide sufficient information about the parameter or why it deserved to be added to the game's toolset.

Hardly six hours after I made my post (using some screenshots from this wiki's VRAD page), you made some changes to the VRAD page on some of those specific portions I had included in my post. Just curious, but was the timing of your edit a coincidence, or did you read the post and decide to update the wiki page with better information because of it?

I never mapped much for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive CS:GO so I'm not too familiar with its tools nor the quirks of its engine build, but as you can tell from the garrysmod-requests thread I linked at the beginning of this post I'm sort of figuring this out as I go. If you have any additional information you believe could help clear up any confusion I've delineated throughout my posts there, please do enlighten me. For example, in the newest revisions of the page, when you say, "[e]xtra sampling factor for indirect lighting [...]," does this apply only to vertex lighting, or to static prop lightmaps as well?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
