The framerate is how fast the screen or another object updates its appearance. This is usually measured in frames per second (FPS). A framerate of 60 is considered optimal, but the higher the better. A very low framerate (about 25 and below) makes a game harder to play, because movement appears choppy and unrealistic. The framerate is usually associated with the graphics processing unit(gpu)(this is generally why gamers buy better graphics card. The more objects on screen and more high graphics settings you have on,the more choppy the framerate is.You can get more performance by lowering the graphics setting down to low graphics, the more lower the framerate the better your performace,You can also buy better gpus to handle higher graphics and give more performace such as Nvidia's rtx and gtx graphics cards(also known as the geforce series),Intel's graphics card(which is a very common gpu for most computers),or Amd's graphics card.
