Anyone know what the "Show Helpers" link is actually meant to be?

...The Hammer Helper has multiple uses/functions. In most cases you should make sure the Helper is off.

Turn it on to adjust entity specific points such as hinges, ladders, etc.

It can also be used to adjust the Fade Distance of entities, however this is the one area where it causes most mappers to stumble, be very careful when moving entities with the Helper On. --Mark WiseCarver
