Without a doubt, the Developer Community is an indispensable resource for anyone who likes to tinker with the Source Engine. But it is far from perfect, and quality may vary widely.
This page is intended to host: solutions to specific problems - simplified, improved explanations and information about topics not found anywhere else.

Please keep in mind the methods in this article are based on my own experience (with some much appreciated input from some fellow modders). If you disagree to, or would like to change anything
