Entity description

An entity that controls the rate at which time passes in the game. Functionally identical to the host_timescale console command, but works without cheats enabled and supports blending between the time scales.

Useful to create temporary slow motion or fast-forward effects, as seen in the playable trailer for the movie Super 8 in Portal 2.

Keyvalues

Blend Time ([todo internal name (i)]) <float>
Time in seconds to blend between time scales.
Name (targetname) <string>[ Edit ]
The name that other entities refer to this entity by, via Inputs/Outputs or other keyvalues (e.g. parentname or target).
Also displayed in Hammer's 2D views and Entity Report.
