RAM & VRAD
Are you sure for 2.75go? I compil a big map, and at 1.8Go the VRAD stop. So I have 4go of RAM, but XP 32bits can use 2Go maximum by applications. --Anarkia777 16:21, 31 July 2010 (UTC)
- what is "go"? --Pfannkuchen 16:31, 31 July 2010 (UTC)
- 232 = 4,294,967,296 bytes
4,294,967,296 / (1,024 x 1,024) = 4,096 MB = 4GB Once you factor out System reserved and video memory you end up with 2.7. If you have less you are using more for video memory. And Vrad doesn't crash when you 'run out of ram', windows simply begins paging ram to the harddrive. (which is slow) --Omnicoder 16:56, 31 July 2010 (UTC)
