First I and a few friends of mine decided to make a GoldSource mod. But it seems that we can't get any help for it from internet. And becouse of Source's fame, it's better to make a Source mod today. I'm very oldschool so I love the good old GoldSrc and Half-Life, but the truth is that it's much easier to make a Source mod today, than a GoldSrc mod.
