OK, I'm actually too tired to write anything more significant right now.

I am a visual artist who works in both traditional and new media (to most people, that's "paintings and drawings" and "computer graphics and video", respectively).  To pay the rent, I am a tape operator for a major corporation.

In HL2 terms, I do a little bit of everything ... texturing, mesh creation, mapping, sound, programming.  My primary focus is on the geometry, however.

I like to see things that I envision made into (sort of) tangible form, so I use many forms of 3D software: I buy most FPS games primarily to toy around with mapping, as I find the engines provide an excellent tradeoff between learning curve/time and visual quality, especially for the price.  When I favor speed or casual, off-the-cuff creation, I use [http://www.secondlife.com/ Second Life].  When I want to aspire to high-end quality, I use [[Lightwave]].

About Dyne

When I favor speed or casual, off-the-cuff creation, I use Second Life. When I want to aspire to high-end quality, I use Lightwave.
