There's something strange with this entity. The tunnel effect created by the movement of the stars is following the player's eyes. I mean, if you look left, the stars will come from the left, and if you look down, the stars will come from the bottom.. This is kind of weird because ingame it looks simply ugly. The tunnel keeps changing its orientation and the stars goes in every direction.. As far as I can remember, the starfield in HL1 Outro was not acting like that. --[[User:NykO18|NykO18]]

The hl1 starfield was created by white geometry trains on a path. This starfield was engineered only for use with a scripted view (i.e. static direction) so it didn't really matter—ts2do 11:12, 17 Sep 2006 (PDT)
