What its meant to be is a launching pad for new mappers. The current beginers tutorials while basic are too basic. They basically say "Heres hammer , make a brush pick a texture. make a room. Good now you know everything go have fun." Whereas they know aboiut 20% of what I call basics. This area will be the more advanced approach to bring them up to a more respectable level of mapping. It will show them other tutorials and things through links but it will be sort of a lesson plan on how to bring yourself up to a better standard of mapping. It wont be entirley self contained and will utilise the rest of the wiki's tutorials i feel relevant. [[User:Angry Beaver|Angry Beaver]] 15:05, 15 Feb 2006 (PST)

Goal?

Not sure of the goal of this exactly. Seems like it would overlap with existing pages:

Why not just write a series of tutorials and place links to them in the proper category? The Level Design category page will be getting a cleanup soon. --JeffLane 11:13, 15 Feb 2006 (PST)
