Welcome to Reality

Welcome to Reality is a modern-futuristic day warfare mod for Half-Life 2. It takes place on both border cities, Windsor Ontario (Canada), and Detroit Michigan (USA). The United States of America decides to invade Canada for some good reason (il figure that out later, everyone kept getting mad at us because of our old stories...). You will play as 2 different Canadian Resistance Fighters throughout the singleplayer campaign, using both modern day and futuristic weapons (im aiming for about 10-15). The layout of the levels will be close to the real layout of Windsor (I live there, as well as a friend who may help me with mapping). Im really not good at giving out information, so if you would like more just lemme know and il see what i can do.

Yes, thats all we are looking for at the moment... we have no progress on the mod, (aside from the loading menu of the game) but the first thing I would like to have rolling is the coding, seeing as thats the hardest part.

My DoD:s clan. iGO started out roughly a year before DoD:s was released, and was started by a friend and clanmate of mine, ManO. It started out as a outreach program. The day DoD:s was released, he put up a server, asked if i wanted to put the tag on, and I shockingly said yes. We were just gonna be a gaming group instead of a clan, but that changed after about an hour of playing...

• the Windsor Mosquito Bomber Group

A group that has been around for roughly 15 years I believe, 3 of which my dad and I have been a part of it. We are rebuilding, mostly from scratch, a wwII Mosquito Bomber

• the Great War Society

A first war re-enacting group my dad and I are involved in. We are in the Royal Canadian Regiment reenacting group.

• 107th Venturer Company

A Venturer Company in Windsor, Ontario. Our group is very laid back. We dont due any badge work or anything like that, because our "supervisors" (A.K.A. Leaders) don't want to make us do things we dont want to, because then the group would die more than it already is. our group has about 10 people in it, most of which are in it for a 4th, 5th, and 6th year (we are supposed to leave after 3 years...).

• Our Lady of Fatime / St. John Vianney Faith Commmunity

This is the church I attend. Im pretty involved in it. Im part of the parish council, every year we have a week long summer camping trip to Algonquin Park's interior. Theres normally a group of sbout 20 - 30 youth that attend the trip.

• the Windsor Optimist Youth Band

An awsome marching band. I played bass drum for 4 years, starting the 2006 season, I moved up to snare drum. In 1997 the band went to Germany for a huge music festival. They took 2 first place prizes. The year after the German band they were housed with came to Canada. In 2003 we went to the Calgary Stampede. We took all four first place prizes we were eligible for, which has never been done, and still hasnt been done after us. In 2007 we are going to Germany for a 10 year anniversary of the trip in 1997. There is 1 person still in the band that went 10 years ago.

• The local music scene

My brother is very involved in the local music scene. He gets a bunch of bands together for shows. He has a sound system that he uses at his shows, and he rents then out to other people doing the same thing to make more money. He has organised two 600 people shows for City in Colour A.K.A. Dallas Green. I help him out as much as I can. He also has a website, At The Punk Show
