Default appearance with user specified to have been previously banned status = previous	This user has been previously banned for an unspecified reason, such as  spamming,  vandalism,  copyright violations,  sockpuppetry,  edit warring, trolling or  harassment, and/or violating the Valve Developer Community's Terms of Use along with other misbehavior.
Default appearance with user specified to have been temporarily banned status = temporary	This user has been temporarily banned for an unspecified reason, such as  spamming,  vandalism,  copyright violations,  sockpuppetry,  edit warring, trolling or  harassment, and/or violating the Valve Developer Community's Terms of Use along with other misbehavior. Upon the expiration of the block imposed on this user, the following notice must be kept in accordance with the policy on user content.
Default appearance with user specified to have been permanently banned status = permanent	This user has been permanently banned for an unspecified reason, such as  spamming,  vandalism,  copyright violations,  sockpuppetry,  edit warring, trolling or  harassment, and/or violating the Valve Developer Community's Terms of Use along with other misbehavior.

Reasons

Edit warring or making disputed edits reason = editwar reason = dispute	This user has been banned for repeatedly  edit warring and/or  making disputed edits.
Spamming or advertisement reason = spam reason = spamming reason = ad reason = advertising	This user has been banned for  spamming pages and/or  advertising.
Harassing other users reason = bully reason = bullying reason = harass reason = harassment	This user has been banned for  harassing other users.
Bad username reason = username	This user has been banned because their username clearly violates our username policy (meaning that it is profane, threatens, attacks or impersonates another person), or suggests that this user do not intend to contribute positively to Valve Developer Community. Copyright violation reason = copyright reason = dmca	This user has been banned for  repeated copyright violations If the copyright claims was later found to be false (such as "Fair Use", using "Public Domain" content), this user will be unbanned, and the user who made the false copyright claim will be warned and/or banned.
