Template talk:Csgo skylist

(using Template:Message) What is the point of having this template, instead of just putting it directly on Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Sky List? I don't see reason to have the list of skies on other pages, as it just would introduce clutter.  --SirYodaJedi (talk) 20:01, 3 Jan 2023 (UTC)

(using Template:Message) Here are the main reasons:

1. It is easier to update the content, because from now on it is the same for all pages. This also applies to translation, as templates use the{{{suf}}}parameter.
2. It is not correct to use a regular page as a template, as this increases the number of calls.

I have not finished the work yet, but since yesterday the templates have changed a bit. Documentation of all templates will appear later.  --THE OWL (talk) 10:05, 5 Jan 2023 (UTC)
