Valve Comments: If you don't have a VR device, you can run with -vrdebug to see vr rendering as a side-by-side stereo render.
Summary: Allows you to avoid VR requirement to launch the game. Otherwise Error: "SteamVR failed initialization with error code VRInitError_Init_HmdNotFound: "Hmd Not Found (108)" "Please verify SteamVR is properly installed and try again."
Usage: SteamLibrary-> Half Life: Alyx -> Properties -> General Tab -> Set Launch Options -> "-vrdebug"
