To use the advanced crosshair system which will become avaliable on the intial engine update for DOD:S, you should register the following console variables.

cl_crosshair_file
Crosshair material string
cl_crosshair_alpha
Alpha byte. 0 is transparent. 255 is completey opaque.
cl_crosshair_red
Red byte
cl_crosshair_green
Green byte
cl_crosshair_blue
Blue byte
cl_crosshair_scale
Real number from 1 to 2,147,483,647. (Recommended values: 1 to 20)
