Vital Apparatus Vents appeared in the original [[Portal]], they deliver testing apparatus between tests.
They can be used for different uses for instence, using them for delivering [[Cube_(Portal_2)|Cubes]], [[Turrets]], custom elements, etc
 
They are mostley used in [[Portal]] 1 styled levels or [[Portal]] 1 levels, they are very similar to the [[Dropper_(Portal_2)|Dropper]].
