: The graphics look similar, but the premise is quite different (I think, I'm downloading the Golf beta now). Darwinia is hard to define in terms of a genre, but I guess the best way to explain it would be as a squad based RTS.

I was so happy to read that Darwinia is getting released over Steam. I bought, played, and loved the game a while back and am amazed at the number of people who haven't ever heard of it.
