• 1. Severe mistranslation: View in the menu bar of a Win32 is always translated by Affichage. Using Vue here and in other instances creates confusions and affects usability.
• 2. Severe mistranslation: partie means game sesion or round and not game.
• 3. Severe mistranslation: Vue Manuel du jouer means The player manual view instead of View the player manual.

• 5. Inconsistency: the text informing about the interruption of the updating process is not consistent across Steam (see #Bug 7.5.fr below and Image:Steam_FR_mainui_004.jpg]. Since there are only two possible states (Update in progress and Update stopped) it is better to avoid using Update paused and Update stopped in the UI.
• 6. Inconsistency: All the commands with a verb in the contextual menus and File menu are translated using an infinitive verb, except for the Backup command in the contextual menu.
