rules

the site needs them. can a mod come here and add a rule page? it's becoming annoying when users quote non-existant rules, right or wrong. Kizzycocoa 17:37, 13 December 2009 (UTC)

The rules that other users quote do exist, you just keep on ignoring them because they haven't been placed on a page for easy viewing. Solokiller 18:12, 13 December 2009 (UTC)
well, unless a MODERATOR actually HAS a page for it, or has been quoted for it, the rule is a user-made rule. and should be disregarded.
hence why a page is very necessary Kizzycocoa 18:14, 13 December 2009 (UTC)
If an admin states a rule somewhere, it is a real rule. You quote Jeff Lane's answer to something, yet, when we quote something he, or another admin said, but just longer ago, you ignore it. Thus, YOU, not we, are bending the rules. Solokiller 18:19, 13 December 2009 (UTC)
but I get links. you lot can't be asked. how do I know?
I don't. now, if you will, this is about DOCUMENTING rules. not discussing them. Kizzycocoa 18:24, 13 December 2009 (UTC)
This page has discussion on the usage of more than one page per mod, as it is a discussion between several users of this wiki, it also counts as a rule, as the admins, who are VALVe employees do not have all the time to check up on this wiki. Also, if you want to know for sure which rules exist, i suggest you search the wiki for them, as i'm not going to spend hours searching through thousands of edits and hundreds of pages just so you would stop messing things up. This is still a development wiki, not a mod wiki. If you want to put tons of pages filled with information on your mod online, there's always the half-life wiki, if they allow it. Solokiller 19:06, 13 December 2009 (UTC)
I'm calling BS on that one. no matter how many collective users decide to make a rule, the final say goes to the admins/moderators. and they have not had their final say on that talk page.
and I'm not dumb. I have searched for rules
the searches were fruitless. Kizzycocoa 19:16, 13 December 2009 (UTC)
If that's the case, then why are you editing a wiki? Wikis operate based on what users decide is good and what isn't good, if the admins have to say something about every single issue then it would become impossible to do anything on a wiki. And again, this is a mod development wiki, not a mod information wiki. Solokiller 19:28, 13 December 2009 (UTC)
For fuck's sake, even if I agree with you Solokiller, just leave the man alone in his awesomeness. You're both clogging up the Recent Changes list and the whole thing becomes unreadable. --NykO18 20:14, 13 December 2009 (UTC)
