Entity Description
Stationary ceiling mounted 'fishing' monster. They were originally devised in Half-Life as a simple way to limit movement in levels, and their function remains relatively the same in Half-Life 2. There should always be a way to get past a barnacle without killing it. Most players will rarely get caught by barnacles, if at all; however, don't force the player to get caught!
