Milkshape is a small modeling and animation pack which was heavily used by aspiring modelers/animators when creating models for HL1.
Milkshape 3D is a small modeling and animation pack which was heavily used by aspiring modelers/animators when creating models for HL1. Milkshape 3D is probably best known for it's support of a large variety of file formats.
A big down side to Milkshape is that it does not support vertex assigned to mulitple bones.
 
An upside is its support of a large variety of formats.
As of Version 1.7.11 (due out this week) Milkshape 3D will vertex weighting.
