Normally you wouldn't need to use this entity at all, as the player starts with discs and cannot normally lose them. If you are experimenting with alternate forms of gameplay and use the player_weaponstrip entity to remove the player's discs, you'll need to provide weapon_disc entities if you wish to re-enable his weapons.
