This mod for Source is currently in development.
Overview
Conflict Theory is a new multiplayer based game that will feature a story that spans from video game to comic book. The levels will all exist in the same world, which means you should be able to figure out where one level takes place VS. the last level you played. There will be 3 distict locals in the world, A desolate iron jungle, a utopian city and a ghetto. (More on this later)
Features
- All new weapons
- All new storyline that is not a part of the Half-Life series
- All new graphics with new textures, models, levels, characters and more.
Media
We've been in concept for over 2 years now, a lot of thought has gone into the project, however; we just started developing levels and the few screenshots show the early workings of our first level. Go to http://conflicttheory.biscuitcleaver.com/ and see the first four screens.
History
A brief history of the mod. How long has it been around, what kind of changes has it gone through, what problems had to be overcome. You know. Whatever. If you want it.
Team
The team is a class project consisting of me and another partner full time. The rest of the work will consist of contracters to do specific deeds. So far we have one person working on music, another on some Zbrush modeling and another to get started with the very basic programming.

Help Wanted
- We are looking for a programmer who knows their AI stuff, which should clue you in the fact that we're not making your everyday mod.
- We're also needing programming help with creating a few new game modes that we have planned out.
- As far as this project fizzling out, Not gonna happen. If this project doesn't go gold, we don't graduate. This means we need to get everything done by December.
E3 Notice
- We're planning to be in L.A for E3 in may, so if you're interested in the project, contact me at biscuitcleaver AT gmail.com and arrange to talk. I'm always interested in hearing what other people have to say about the project, and I'll have content ready that I'm not wanting to show online until closer to Launch day.
Siggraph Notice
- There's a good chance I'll be going to Siggraph in Boston, so if you're interested in the project and would like to meet on the OTHER side of the country; again, just e-mail me and we'll get everything set up to talk about Conflict Theory.
