I was debating with my self whether it should get a section on this page or not. Numerous people have tried to get any sort of response from Valve on whether they allow the project or not, but after 10 months not a single OSW-related email has ever received a reply. I don't know...
The HL2 series may not have Steamworks;
- the games were here longer
- developers - they've already got everything monitored
- they said Left 4 Dead was the first Valve game made with Steamworks
I think that 'old' Source games aren't using Steamworks. AciD 00:06, 13 Oct 2008 (PDT)

The Open Steamworks Project?
I was debating with my self whether it should get a section on this page or not. Numerous people have tried to get any sort of response from Valve on whether they allow the project or not, but after 10 months not a single OSW-related email has ever received a reply. So it's still unknown either for or against, what do you guys think? --Asherkin 03:32, 8 August 2010 (UTC)
