Black Mesa (Source)/Surface Tension

Surface Tension is the twelfth chapter of Black Mesa.

It takes place on the surface of the Black Mesa Research Facility.

Overview

Surface Tension happens near the middle of the game when the military still has control over the facility.

NPCs

The player will encounter largely the same enemies as the previous chapters, such as Human Grunts, Vortigaunts, Headcrabs, and occasionally Scientists or Security Guards.

Plot

During Surface Tension, Gordon Freeman starts his journey to the lambda labs while the military hunts him down.
