: Thats fair. i do have that bad habit if i look at my contributions page. in my defense the 'minor edit' checkbox is selected by default. but i will be more mindful of it from now on. ive never edited on a wiki other than this one and even had to look up this talk page stuff to see how to respond properly --[[User:Vizzys|Vizzys]] ([[User talk:Vizzys|talk]]) 05:01, 30 March 2025 (PDT) | |||

minor edits
Hi Vizzys! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typographical error or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. --Nescius (talk) 03:16, 30 March 2025 (PDT)
- Thats fair. i do have that bad habit if i look at my contributions page. in my defense the 'minor edit' checkbox is selected by default. but i will be more mindful of it from now on. ive never edited on a wiki other than this one and even had to look up this talk page stuff to see how to respond properly --Vizzys (talk) 05:01, 30 March 2025 (PDT)
- If it's selected by default it means you've set the "Mark all edits minor by default" checkbox in Special:Preferences#mw-prefsection-editing at some point --Nescius (talk) 05:19, 30 March 2025 (PDT)
