'''FixVTF''' is a {{wiki|data conversion}} program written by [[User:Snakez|Snakez]]. It converts Episode 2 format ([[VTF]] 7.3/7.4) materials to the previous {{hl2ep1|4}} ([[VTF]] 7.2 and older) format. {{hammer4|4}} used {{hl2ep1|4}} format materials, models and maps until the official release of the Orange Box on October 10, 2007, after which point FixVTF became essentially obsolete. For many years, no working downloads of this program were able to be found, and it became lost media until October 12, 2023 when two working downloads were found again.
