There are a wide variety of options that you can utilize to make your custom maps and mods available to the masses. You can upload them to sites dedicated to gaming, get a server to place it in their rotation, or you can host it yourself.

This is a list of sites where you can upload content to.

Note:Some links might be broken as the file hosting servers most likely got shutdown, having their URLs changed, etc...
Furthermore, some limitations and premium features listed here might be out of date.

General hosting

Google Drive: Limit: 15GB (up to Premium 2 TB via Google One subscription); Premium account offered; Account needed; Upload and download unlimited files for free; Desktop and web uploading; Files hosted Forever until user delete it.
OneDrive: Limit: 5GB (up to 1TB/2TB (Personal), or 1TB/2TB per person up to 6TB for 6 persons (Family) via Microsoft 365 subscription); Premium account offered; Account needed; Upload and download unlimited files for free; Files hosted Forever until user delete it, or after 12 months (1 year) when you exceed your Microsoft storage.
MEGA: Successor of Megaupload; Limit: 20 GB (Free), up to 16 TB (Pro III); Transfer quota enforced based on the amount of data downloaded from your IP address in the past six hours. Pro users will have their own transfer quota based off their plans.; MEGA achievements will give you more storage every 5GB (excludes business and Pro Flexi users) temporarily which lasted for 1 year.; Premium account offered; Desktop and web uploading; Files hosted Forever until user delete it.
http://www.sendspace.com: Limit: 300MB (sendspace Premium™, gives you up to 10GB); Premium account offered; File Tracking & Statistics; Files deleted after 30 days with no download, hosted forever (even inactive) for Premium users.
http://www.4shared.com: Limit: 2GB per file (up to 100 GB for Premium 1 year), storage 15 GB (up to 100GB for Premium 1 year); Premium account offered
http://www.filedropper.com/: Limit: 5GB; Premium account offered, with 50GB.; Currently having issues as of 2023. Site is not rendering properly, register page won't load.

MediaFire: Limit: 50GB per file, hosting 10 GB (Basic/Free) up to 1TB (Pro) (2TB for Business); Expires: Never
TransferBigFiles (formerly http://www.turboupload.com): Limit:; 30MB per file (up to 20 GB per file for highest Premium plan with 1TB Storage); Limited to 5 downloads per file; Files expire after 5 days
Hightail (formerly http://www.yousendit.com): Limit: 100MB per file, 2GB storage; Premium users limit ranging from 25GB up to 50GB (500GB for Business users), with all premium users get unlimited storage.; Expires: 7 days; Premium account offered
