Thanks for the welcome. I am here to get info on localizing mods. I hope to be able to contribute once I have figured out why the Lost Coast update broke the tokenization of the scripts\titles.txt I did for MINERVA. The HEV communications stopped appearing after working splendidly. :-(

I did a little research and it seems valve almost made it so languages could be done through a specified char variable, check out
 FSReturnCode_t FileSystem_LoadSearchPaths( CFSSearchPathsInit &initInfo )
in filesystem_init.cpp

It uses initInfo.m_pLanguage which is never set by any code

I'd like to plug in a Polish translation without overwriting the files in <code>metastasis\resource</code>, <code>metastasis\scripts</code> etc. Languages supported in Steam are taken care of by inserting the <code>metastasis_french</code> folder, but I'd like to do something similar for languages which are not supported by Steam.
