The orange box branch eventually turned into Source 2013, which is split into Singleplayer and Multiplayer. Team Fortress 2 is based off of Source 2013 MP, there is no dedicated Team Fortress 2 branch. It starts where everything starts, a tf2 100x Highertower server. In that gamemode, The Equalizer is incredibly op, as it 1 shots most classes and you move very fast, so I named myself Equalizer and ran around the server with the Equalizer. Since then, I became lazy and only changed my name for the #savetf2 trend.
