Imho, a days delay isn't really a significant delay. The huge majority of their release dates are met within a reasonable range (few minutes, hours, etc.), but people just love to exclaim "LOL VALEV TIME" when a release date is more than 0:02 seconds late. People also think that they can call Valve Time when their timezone hits the time, but it hasn't gotten there in PST.
