== Entities equivalent to Source 1 counterparts ==
Some entities in CS2's FGD are functionally identical compared to their Source 1 counterparts in CSGO. However, this entity list page has those entities linked to non-existent Source 2 pages for them. I see 2 ways on how to deal with these entity links:
*A Source 2 page is made for all the entities in this list. For entities that are identical from Source 2 to Source 1, just make the new page redirect to the Source 1 version. This would keep the links valid if Valve ever did change the entities and they needed a new page specifically for the Source 2 variant of the entity.
*The links are edited to just point to the Source 1 version. This is the easiest way and requires no extra page creation. However, this method would require someone to remember to come back and update this page in the future if a Source 2 page was created for the entity, as the links would otherwise lead to the incorrect version of the entity.
I'm not sure which way is best, so I won't do anything unless someone else weighs in on it. However, either way would probably be better than having the current dead links. --[[User:FrozenH2O|FrozenH2O]] ([[User talk:FrozenH2O|talk]]) 12:21, 22 June 2024 (PDT)
::I think that the latter makes more sense, and if two entities are similar enough, the same documentation page could be used for Source 1 and 2 entities. {{tl2|this is a}} would have to be edited to support specifying both an engine and game (in this case, CSGO and all Source 2 games), but that's very doable.
