Blue Shift

We need blueshift up here... -ts2do

The Blue Shift maps are all prefixed with ba, i.e. ba_tram1.bsp, but that isn't too catchy, but then neither is bs. ;-) --wisemx 06:36, 30 Aug 2005 (PDT)
-_- that wasn't the question I was asking...but I got it now -ts2do
Painfully obvious, now. --wisemx 18:31, 30 Aug 2005 (PDT)
I have removed Blue Shift because, insofar as I recall, there is no multiplayer component, and so it doesn't relate much to this article any more. Perhaps there should be a separate article on map abbreviations and development and such, I'm not sure. --Nicholas Davidowicz 21:29, 22 March 2011 (UTC)

Team Fortress 2

Since when does TF refer to Team Fortress 2? It refers to just Team fortress, not 2. --??

It seems really odd to call TF "tfc" and TF2 "tf", but (although I can't verify if the article information is correct) keep in mind that this article doesn't list the POPULAR abbreviations - just what the programs list them as. --Andreasen 07:21, 18 Sep 2007 (PDT)
It is correct..I verified—ts2do 10:03, 18 Sep 2007 (PDT)
This isn't a list of popular abbreviations, but rather the names used in various programs. I agree that tf2 makes more sense, but that's not what Valve decided to use. --Nicholas Davidowicz 21:29, 22 March 2011 (UTC)

Portal

I was curious why Portal's abbreviation wasn't listed here. Granted there's only a handful of things you can do using Portal's GFC in a mod, I still think it makes sense to put up here for completeness. You never know when someone may find a use for it.--TheByrus 23:08, 23 February 2009 (UTC)

Portal does not have a real multiplayer component or server. See my comment about Blue Shift. --Nicholas Davidowicz 21:29, 22 March 2011 (UTC)
