Not like it's necessary but I assume when gif is used as thumb on some page it only loads small version of it that has small size and not full and that's why I have to click it to see it animated right ? And full is loaded after clicking the image right ? Not planning to make it any bigger than 500KB but I assume even if it was then during page load it just loads like 100KB thumbnail --Nescius (talk) 08:37, 7 May 2025 (PDT)
- Whether thumbnail is used is purely resolution-dependent. It also can sometimes differ if the user is zoomed in or is using high-PPI scaling, to make things even more inconsistent.
