Purge base's cache

This template translates {{{1}}} (the name of a language) into {{{2}}} (or the interface language if {{{2}}} is either blank or equal to the text uselang). For example, {{language name|es|en}} yields Spanish.

If {{{3}}} is true, English will be used as a fallback.

Tip:To get the full name of a language in itself, use {{#language}}. For example, {{#language:es}} renders as español

Translations

If you need to translate the names of various languages for a certain language, please add translations to the subpage of the language in the listed pages of. For example, if you want to translate "English" into Chinese, you need to edit Template:Language name/zh and add the translation of "English" (英语).
