Illusion of free choice

It should be noted that the 'illusion of free choice' in Half-life is just that. If the player has their flashlight on when accepting or declining the G-man's offer, they will see the same scene while the credits roll, regardless of their choice. Therefore, either ending can be deemed canon, as the player ends up in the same place, under G-man's control, and, presumably, in the train in the begining of Half-life 2. --JeffMOD 13:00, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
