Note:Originally, this template used to be called Template:Spammer, it has been later expanded and now being used to report not only spam, but also for various other reasons such as vandalism, DMCA violations, etc..., thus, it has been renamed to "Report user".

Todo: Test this template with a example user to make sure things would work as expected.

Usage

Use this template on user page if you want to report this user for various reasons.

Once this user has been banned, this template should be replaced with {{Banned user}}.

Parameters

Parameter	Description	Example
No Parameters	Use this if the user should be banned for multiple/unspecified reasons.	{{Report user}}

{{{user}}}	If used with reason=sock, mark this account as a suspected sockpuppet from a user who was trying evading bans and attempting to create multiple account (sockpuppeting) for inappropriate purposes.	{{Report user|reason=sock|user=[[User:Example]]}}
