Add {{citation needed}} or {{cn}} after a specific statement or alleged fact that is not sourced properly.

Usage

{{cn}} results in [citation needed]

{{cn|reason=This needs to be sourced properly|date=August 2015}} results in [citation needed]

Arguments (optional)
  • reason= - specific reason for the tooltip
  • date= - Date the template was added, e.g. August 2015 or February 11, 2020
