Half-Life 2: Demo is the demo version of Half-Life 2. The demo consists of excerpts of the Point Insertion and Ravenholm chapters(d1_trainstation_01,d1_trainstation_02,d1_town_01,d1_town_02,d1_town_03).

Trivia

The demo is actually the full game itself, but run a script with Steam when you startup to limit you only run these maps. Portal: The First Slice uses the same way too. exec hl2.exe directly (or add "-game portal" ,for Portal Demo) to play the full game but it will only run in full english and without any achievements.

Note:If you already own the game, you can't install or play the demo.
