Hello people! I have just started to get into map making for HL2 and I am just exploring the VDC for hints, tips, etc...

A Bit About Me...

My name is Chris, I live in Derby in the UK and I am 15. I am currently at Secondary School and have chosen ICT as one of my main subjects. Yay ICT!

Bit of a problem (Hammer)

Well, I have just finished my first map (very small and very empty, but it's a good start) after following the "Your First Map" tutorial floating around the VDC somewhere. I clicked on "Run Map" in the File menu and made sure all the settings were correct and that the string at the bottom of the dialouge box was correct.

I click on OK or Save or Accept or whatever it says and then wait for the game to compile.

BUT!

After a few seconds of waiting, an error pops up and says:

Failed to load the launcher DLL:

The specified module could not be found.

And that's where I came to a halt. I have browsed around the VDC but I couldn't find an article on it or anything... But knowing me I probably went straight past it...

So, if any help can be offered, it would be greatly appreciated.
