Bug

It might be worth noting that there is currently a bug on Goldsource servers that use the latest optional HLDS update from March 10, 2010. The default value (255) works fine, 3 (Europe) does not, other values I didn't test.

I think this is fixed now, on Valve's end. Before it didn't work with LSE 54 nor with LSE 55. Today it works with LSE 55 (didn't test LSE 54). --pizzahut 12:45, 1 August 2010 (UTC)
