I don't mean to undermine your efforts, but is this going to be sufficiently different from Controlling Geometry Visibility and Compile Times, Optimizing and Checking Your Map, Optimization, and Optimization (Geometry) to justify a new article? Thanks. And I intend to make this significantly different, yes. I'm not reinventing the stone, rather, I'm trying to present this in a more coherent light. The problem is all those articles either do theory or practice, but don't really combine them in one go. So Hopefully this will help.
