As far as knock-out goes being player only and whatnot, the metrocops kill citizens in one hit with the stunstick, so it can be presumed the same as knocking out for the player.

When taking knock out into account, an npc_metropolice becomes a very deadly foe indeed, as shown where Gordon first meets Alyx: A chasing npc_metropolice moves faster than a zombie and can kill (or whatever) in one hit, so up close, inside buildings, I'd prefer a Combine elite soldier. --Andreasen 07:28, 15 Apr 2006 (PDT)
